Companies Plan to Increase Staffing Firm Usage Over Next Five Years
CareerBuilder, Inavero, and the American Staffing Association surveyed hiring managers across the U.S. about their pain points, perceptions of the staffing industry, key drivers of satisfaction with their staffing firm partners, and more to publish the 2018 Staffing Buyer Study.
- More than half of companies currently partnering with staffing firms (54%) plan to increase their use of staffing firms over the next five years. Hiring managers surveyed said partnering with firms helps to curb the hiring process and attract candidates with specialized skills.
- The top reasons hiring managers partner with staffing firms are when they need to hire someone quickly, to gain access to candidates with specialized skills, and when they are struggling to fill a position on their own.
- Hiring managers' biggest pain points are reaching candidates with the right skills (52%), time to hire (40%) and budget (34%).
- Two-thirds of hiring managers said using a staffing firm gives them access to the right candidates, solving their biggest headache.
The survey also reported that Net Promoter Scores for staffing firms have continued to climb over the last decade. Most companies choose a staffing provider based off of NPS and customer reviews. Check out what top companies are saying about MATRIX.
