Position: User Experience Researcher
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009
Term: 5 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Encompass leading the design and execution of traditional research activities (e.g., surveys, interviews), while also including more User Experience-focused research methods such as usability testing, and ethnographies.
  • Consult on research and feedback needs with internal clients and determine methods consistent with business and customer goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design of the research instrument which pursues truth and results in knowledge creation while mindful of participant time.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of research method.
  • Create meaningful, action-oriented knowledge, producing professionally packaged research results.
  • Track and report on product performance issues and resolutions closing the research loop with product teams.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • BA/BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Social Sciences, Design, Digital Media, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience as a UX designer, UX Researcher, Usability Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience with iterative usability testing and benchmark testing.
  • Experience working on Mobile and Desktop experiences.
  • Experience designing complex data visualization experiences.
  • Experience facilitating usability studies.
  • Experience conducting accessibility audits.
  • Experience using online/remote usability tools.
  • Experience with the use of Axure for prototyping.
  • Comfortable working face-to-face or in virtual settings across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent written communication skills to enable salient, comprehensive report writing.
  • CUA certified
  • Strong understanding of combining User-Centered Design principals with user research.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities, both verbal and visual.
