Grow your career as a Technical Risk & Controls Project Manager with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. 6+ contract opportunity (with strong chance for extension). Will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage the delivery and completion of commitments, milestones and deliverable for Consent Order Process and Application Mapping and Information Security Data Encryption Assessments specific to the group.
• Plan and strategize Book of Work (BoW) for App Mapping and Data Encryption Assessments providing reasonable timelines and expectations to fulfil commitments.
• Provide business and tech stakeholders with status updates through various methods of reporting and communication.
• Provide Support/Assistance establish and implement mitigation/remediation steps for dependencies, risks and issues identified.
• Oversee BoW for team of PMs that work to coordinate and oversee the completion of the BoW for both App Mapping and Data Encryption Assessments.
• Compliance Reporting (SDLC, CSRA, CPMC and Permit to Build):
• Track, populate and publish any overdue training requirements that must be maintained and satisfied throughout the year to keep group within compliance thresholds of 97% completion to avoid a CAP being opened (CPMC and Info Sec Dev Training)
• Maintain and enhance process documentation to ensure minimum requirements, expectations, deliverables and thresholds are uniformly followed across the regulatory programs/projects to ensure everyone is within compliance and meets regulatory/PM standards while supporting program sponsors and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business and Technology SMEs to provide timely communication and awareness reporting of overall program/project status, key deliverables & milestones, and relevant risks & issues to senior leadership and stakeholders throughout the life cycle for awareness and transparency.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Technology Project/Program Management
• Experience in Risk Management and Controls.
• Experience with Consent Order work.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and manage delivery and completion of action items stemming from Consent Order Process and Application Mapping and Information Security Data Encryption Assessments.
• Experience implementing mitigation/remediation steps for dependencies, risks and issues identified.
• Experience working with Business and Technology SMEs and communicating program/project status, key deliverables & milestones, and relevant risks & issues to senior leadership and stakeholders throughout the life cycle for awareness and transparency.
