Our growing client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a direct hire opportunity in North Texas.
The ServiceNow Developer (“Developer”) must have prior lead experience or lead qualities and have experience operating as a senior engineer with the ability to design, develop, and deploy secure, sustainable solutions. This role collaborates with platform users as well as with partners and stakeholders to understand the most complex business needs and recommends solutions. At times, this involves working closely with a Software Implementation (SI) vendor. In this role, the Developer is responsible for the implementation of new modules as
well as continuous improvement and support for existing modules and functionality. As such, the developer role requires a strong knowledge of ServiceNow, its many modules, and must maintain
relevant knowledge of new release features and modules to ensure success in the future of the implemented platform at our client. Overseeing the implementation, integrations, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of expertise with ServiceNow and will deliver on the service of supporting the Service
Management for IT and the rest of the Enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and configure all ServiceNow functionality including, but not limited to Incident,
Service Catalog, Service Portal, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Asset Management,
Customer Service Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), HR Service Delivery,
Walk-Up Experience, Security Incident Response, Major Incident, Performance Analytics,
notifications, workflows, record producers, users, groups, roles, tables assignment rules
ACLs and reporting
• Responsible for meeting project schedule and meeting functional objectives
• Designs and modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system
availability, capacity, operating schedules, and business results
• Develop, configure, and support all technologies within and related to the environment
ensuring functionality and exceeding company defined uptime requirements
• Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business
and technical requirements
• Design and develop/configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using
SCRUM/Agile methodologies
• Formulate testing approach, test cases, and produces work plans in support of project
deliverables
• Potential participation/conduction of code walkthroughs—develop coding standards
