Senior Vice President, Technology - 100% Remote

Global real estate firm seeking a SVP of Technology to lead a technology team and be a strategic business partner to help lead the company to greater competitiveness, more profitability and higher enterprise value. The position will report to the President & CEO and will collaborate to enable innovation, identify technology opportunities and enhance the digital business transformation.

Your responsibilities:
? Set and implement the technology strategy of the company in alignment with the overall corporate strategy and market development
? Direct and manage all R&D efforts as well as all technological business needs
? Develop and execute technology vision, strategy and portfolio while ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
? Build, lead, and develop a technology team, promoting a positive environment and teamwork spirit, developing competence, and providing clear vision, issue resolution, motivation and mentoring
? Lead in a Scrum/Agile environment with a proficient knowledge of the development and engineering of new technologies.
? Lead the team as a data architect with proficiency in running sprints and using Jira
? Oversee company’s technology infrastructure, from workplaces to productivity applications 
? Conceptualize, align and execute all IT and technology projects for the company, including the evaluation of and the integration with new clients’ systems, service providers, and information collection and delivery platforms
? Act as the liaison between the Americas headquarters and the global technology organization aligning digital and technology strategies and initiatives
? Conceptualize and implement security policies, processes, controls and standards to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats, including data privacy, business continuity and disaster recovery concepts
? Manage user service levels and service desk for all technology and communication services to ensure extraordinary end user satisfaction
? Manage external service providers on all technical matters and deliverables as well as negotiating IT contracts
? Develop and manage the technology operating budget while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies and cost effectiveness
? Analyze relevant metrics to drive strategy and performance
? Mentor team in software and data architecture, DevOps, and cloud computing best practices
? Establish QA practice and ensure quality software deliverables

What we are looking for:
? Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field or Master’s in business with technology discipline
? 10+ years executive level technology experience 
? 10+ years leadership experience including P&L and budget management
? Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment using Jira a plus
? Experience as a lead/Senior development engineer a plus 
? Proven success building high performing teams
? Proven track record of innovation strategy
? Experience with AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, etc.)
? Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management ( continuous integration / continuous deployment), DevOps, and Agile best practices
? Able to take a “hands-on” approach, getting under the hood to resolve issues while also delegating and distributing the workload to appropriate team members ? Thorough knowledge of security best practices and ability to develop secure systems and processes
? Ability to construct a solid data architecture plan to consolidate data from multiple data sources into a cohesive and comprehensive data platform using PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
? Extensive ability to work with data from MongoDB, DynamoDB, and SQL databases
? Solid understanding of the technology stack used: ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS, TypeScript, Serverless Framework, AWS RDS, AWS Lambdas, SQL, NoSQL
