Position: Senior Technical Project Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Term: 6 months
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the  key initiatives within the non-production environments for the client.
  • Collaborate to understand scope, requirements, design, testing, timeline, and adheres to program processes and standards.
  • Serve as the environment project manager for platform.
  • Facilitate and manage all components within the platform to be available in the non-production environments to support the end to end testing (APIs, interfaces, Vendor integrations etc).
  • Develop and implement processes and standards to help maintain the environment integrity.
  • Document meeting minutes and decisions, and tracks and manages all risks and issues.
  • Create and present status reports and executive dashboards on program progress and issues.
  • Facilitate impact analyses of current/existing technologies on the program.
  • May contribute and/or lead vendor relationship management for project-related vendors. Support enterprise vendor management standards.
  • Support management in data gathering for regulatory and third party reviews.
  • Monitor program execution and escalates program issues as necessary.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Information Technology/Computer Sciences or an Engineering field.
  • 10+ years of combined project management and technical experience.
  • Formal training in project or program management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects within budget and on time.
  • Previous experience in:
    • Information Technology and Information Systems
    • Banking
    • IT Security and Infrastructure Projects
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, team building, mentoring, and communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to communicate concisely and briefly.
  • Advanced in MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise and with external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum direction.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to with multiple priorities.
  • Able to review and analyze data reports and manuals.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
  • Previously managed test environments, and able to refresh the data accordingly.
 
Even better if you have:
  • PMP certification.
  • Technical working knowledge with the following products: AWS Cloud, New Relic, ServiceNow, RHEL, Linux, Middleware Technologies: Appian Flightpath, Google Apigee, MS Windows/SQL Server, File Transfer Technologies: Seeburger, Control-M, Splunk, Solarwinds, Jira, Tableau, Confluence, General Networking
