REMOTE- IT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - DIRECT HIRE - REMOTE

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Microsoft .NET 4.5+, .NET Core and migrating from 4.5 to Core
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases: Database replication, SQL Agent jobs, SSIS package management and Stored Procedures
  • Good understanding of Entity Framework 6 and schema mapping techniques
  • Understanding of MVVM pattern and Enterprise patterns
  • Expert in both front-end and back-end development technologies/frameworks
  • Extensive experience using Web API and micro service architecture. Good understanding of SOA at the Enterprise level. Experience with RESTful API design and consumption
  • Experience building scalable, highly available and low-latency enterprise level systems
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently
  • Experience integrating multiple 3rd party applications
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically – makes sound business decisions that balance competing priorities
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
  • Strong ability to support and mentor team members to accomplish team goals
  • Must have strong teamwork orientation and ability to promote collaboration within teams
  • Experience managing remote teams; off-shore/contractor management beneficial desired
  • Experience using Agile/DevOps methodologies, preferably at scale to deliver engineering projects; experience in continuous improvement to development process
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Be familiar with cloud-based deployment solutions, Azure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure application architecture including Azure Web Apps, Azure VM management, Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus and Webjobs, and Azure Virtual Networks
  • Knowledge in Kubernates and Containerization desired
  • Experience with requirements gathering and analysis while coordinating with multiple departments to create comprehensive design that covers all architectural considerations
  • Experience in secure coding practices and data security
  • Experience scoping multiple interdependent engagements with the development of project plans (Project, etc.)
