The senior business functional Analyst is a hybrid role spanning business requirements definition, business process design (functional solution) and functional testing.
Responsibilities:
• Understand Business / client requirements and develop convincing ideas and solutions to meet these.
• Define the functional solution/ business process design.
• Define the relevant use cases / Business scenarios to test the solution.
• Support application engineering teams to ensure the solution developed meet requirements.
• Ensure key business scenarios are successfully tested prior to deployment into Production.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience of business / functional analysis & testing within Post Trade Securities processing environment.
• Experience with major Business Process re-engineering / transformation projects.
• Strong focus on delivery to the business, understanding business processes within the Post Trade Securities Processing space across CCP Clearing & Settlement for Cash Securities (Equities and Bonds) in order to develop efficient, low touch solutions.
• Enthusiastic, confident, a good team player who is able to work unsupervised and capable of making informed decisions in order to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiating & stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical capability, to understand Business needs and develop convincing solutions
• Ability to define high quality functional solution designs & use cases
• Ability to design and execute functional test cases, leveraging test automation frameworks
• JIRA experience.
