This international financial services industry leader has immediate full-time needs in Cary, NC for a Senior Functional Business Analyst with Post Trade Securities processing experience. This AVP level role require working onsite at least 2 days per week in a hybrid working model. Will be part of the Post Trade Securities Technology team which is responsible for providing Clearing, Settlement, position keeping and asset servicing functions across Securities Processing. Support the IB FIC and O&A business lines across Equities (Equity Trading, and Securities Finance) and Fixed Income (Credit and Rates bond trading and Repo) asset classes across global locations. The core Post Trade Securities Technology platforms integrate with external Clearing venues (e.g. CCPs) and Settlement venues (e.g. Crest, Euroclear, DTC) globally, and are now in the process of being transformed to provide a simpler, standard and lower cost future state architecture.
The senior business functional Analyst is a hybrid role spanning business requirements definition, business process design (functional solution) and functional testing.
Responsibilities:
• Understand Business / client requirements and develop convincing ideas and solutions to meet these.
• Define the functional solution/ business process design.
• Define the relevant use cases / Business scenarios to test the solution.
• Support application engineering teams to ensure the solution developed meet requirements.
• Ensure key business scenarios are successfully tested prior to deployment into Production.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience of business / functional analysis & testing within Post Trade Securities processing environment.
• Experience with major Business Process re-engineering / transformation projects.
• Strong focus on delivery to the business, understanding business processes within the Post Trade Securities Processing space across CCP Clearing & Settlement for Cash Securities (Equities and Bonds) in order to develop efficient, low touch solutions.
• Enthusiastic, confident, a good team player who is able to work unsupervised and capable of making informed decisions in order to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiating & stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical capability, to understand Business needs and develop convincing solutions
• Ability to define high quality functional solution designs & use cases
• Ability to design and execute functional test cases, leveraging test automation frameworks
• JIRA experience.
