Position: Senior Delivery Manager (Remote)
Location: Des Moines, IA 50392 - Remote
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Define, orchestrate, and manage the holistic product life cycle, delivery cadence, release plan and sprint schedule.

Facilitate the identification, scheduling and assignment of project activities, tasks, and milestones.

Help teams identify and improve parts of the team's delivery system to produce results.
-
Work across teams to help improve and optimize workflow and value creation.
-
Use expertise to help define "what good looks like" and generate action to shape those behaviors.
-
Utilize Lean and DevOps principles and practices to create stable, safe, and high performing delivery systems.
-
Able to influence, identify and suggest solutions to continuously improve the practices and methods used to develop software.

Comply with a Code of Ethics which covers a number of obligations related to personal and business conduct as well as personal trading activities for you and members of your household. These same requirements may also apply to other positions across the organization.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Math-related field.

6+ years of Delivery Management experience or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience managing software/application development projects.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.

Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders regarding issues of project scope and status.

Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.

Basic leadership and presentations skills.
-
Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Some travel required, including overnight stays.

Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners.
Even better if you have:

6+ years of Agile team experience in any well-known software environment.

Knowledge of insurance and financial services products.
