POSITION:   Senior Core Java Developer

LOCATIONS: Atlanta, GA - Various unanticipated long-term projects throughout the US.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsible for architecting, building and maintaining backend systems that serve a large number of institutional clients. Liaise with product teams and development teams to build state of the art Trading systems. Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s* in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years’ related experience as a Tech Support Analyst, Consultant, Software Engineer, or related applications development occupation. Must include some experience with: Developing internal application using Spring Boot to monitor, validate application URLs, server connectivity, batch job failures and self-service portal to reprocess batch failures and instant start/stop window services; Jenkins, Splunk, Java, Oracle DB; LOE Estimation, Design document preparation, Code Development, Code review, Debugging and Testing. *In lieu of a Bachelor’s and 5 yrs. exp. the employer will accept a Master’s and 2 yrs. exp.
