Contract Duration: 12 months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Financial Crimes, Risk Management background
  • Hybrid work model

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Financial Crimes (AML) experience (not fraud risk/investigations).
  • Whether Financial Crimes Risk and Investigations or Risk Advisory roles.
  • Experience working complex AML investigations. (Note: we are not focused on fraud).
  • Front Line Risk and Escalations or related roles.
  • Either through:
    • Identifying risks for escalation.
    • Managing escalated risks.
    • Providing credible challenge and recommendations for retention/exit to Senior Leaders on customers.
  • Experience in the areas of financial crimes risk & intelligence.
  • Experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence on variety of customer types, with particular interest in high-risk customer types.
  • Well-versed in bank products – credit cards, wires, checks, cash, P2P.
  • Experience conducting large scale portfolio-style reviews of customer transactional activity.
  • Strong communicator in writing and verbally
  • Strong inter-personal and relationship building skills
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Operates independently with minimal oversight
  • Willing and able to participate in process ideation/ improvement.
Data skills:
  • Experience with MS Excel; able to use advance functions of Excel.
  • Former WF systems experience.
  • Analytical tools experience – MS Excel (minimum) + SQL, Tableau, etc. (bonus).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
