Position: Senior Business Analyst (Remote)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30318 - Remote
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal customers and in-depth knowledge of their business domains.
  • Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy.
  • Partner with the HR team and other key stakeholders to define reporting requirements while managing stakeholder expectations, developing best practices, solving problems, and implementing improvements to the existing reporting structure.
  • Lead projects by completing and updating project documentation, managing project scope, and determining daily priorities, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, working proactively with process owners, end users, and leadership.
  • Serves as point of contact for HR business involving the development, implementation, and testing of Human Capital reports and all HR owned data.
  • Facilitate implementation of new employee training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
  • Takes ownership of assigned work, providing high-quality deliverables per the project schedule.
  • Provides escalated assistance to users experiencing technical issues or needing additional guidance and responds to assigned system inquiries.
  • Identify the pros and cons, risks, and benefits of solution alternatives and make recommendations.
  • Lead a team of stakeholders and technical experts in selecting 3rd party products.
  • Determine and perform necessary functional configurations of unfamiliar 3rd party systems.
  • Provide project-level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation. (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
  • Serve as a resource to customers, other Business Analysts, Project Managers, Data Analysts, testers, developers, and others.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of basic SQL skills, including queries with multiple table joins experience.
  • 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9. x.
  • 5 years of experience with 1 or+ PeopleSoft modules: HR Core, Global Payroll, Base Benefits, Benefits Admin, Time & Labor, Talent Acquisition Workflow Self Service.
  • 5 years of experience in writing SQL queries with multiple table joins and subqueries data testing using SQL.
