Dynamic contract opportunity with a progressive commercial real estate services company. 
Position: Scrum Master
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $66.90/hr.
Term: 7 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the learning and growth of one or more Agile teams in developing a Lean-Agile mindset, improving practices, and guiding the team to an iterative, incremental approach to optimize predictability and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Supports and educates the Product Manager on refining and maintaining the Product Backlog and planning releases. Promote improved engineering and quality assurance practices.
  • Facilitates Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review and Demo, Retrospective, Release Planning, and other meetings as necessary
  • Helps the team stay focused by removing obstacles, minimizing distractions, and keeping team meetings concise and efficient. Clarifies roles and responsibilities and offers motivation and support.
  • Assesses the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and achievable.
  • Tracks context-specific metrics and maintains information radiators and team collaboration tools, to include sprint boards, release burndown charts, progress dashboards, etc.
  • Actively engaged and participates in the Scrum Master Community of Practice (i.e., attends events to exchange information, develops new skills, and actively works to advance domain knowledge). Mentors more junior team members on Agile practices and principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Is it a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (or Agile Project Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Coach)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to assist in managing multiple partners and operational tasks
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly
  • Able to build relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Highly preferred certifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
An additional requirement for this role is the ability to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination proof and/or rigorous testing.
