Role:  Senior React Native Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is looking for a qualified Mobile Developer to join their Engineering team. You will be working with their engineers to develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications. If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, they would like to meet you. As a Sr. Mobile Developer, you’ll collaborate with internal Backend and Design teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ultimately, you should be able to design and build the next generation of their mobile applications.

Responsibilities

You will be a technical and people steward for the part you lead and manage. You will develop clear processes that enforce quality, mitigate risks, and save time. You will lead and improve the Front End team and ensure consistency through code reviews, keeping a high test coverage, automating build distribution, and performing deployment checklists.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)

  • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code

  • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions

  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions

  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance

  • Liaise with Product development team to plan new features

  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols

Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications and translating code into user-friendly apps
  • 5+ years of supporting the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support.
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • GraphQL (client)
  • Expo and Hermes
  • iOS & Android Native Bridges
  • React-Native Technologies

Good to Have

  • Mapping technology (Mapbox, Google Maps)

Experience:

  • 5+ years
  • Minimum of 3+ years React Native
  • Minimum of 2+ years Web
