Position: RCSA Risk Analyst
Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
Term: 18 months+
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support the lead in preparing for RCSA (risk and control self-assessment) and responding to partner inquiries in accordance with team priorities.
- Go through IMO work streams, evaluate procedures and controls, uplift them where necessary and ensure things are stored in the right places, documentation is tied.
- In order to continue to create revenue, RCSA as a methodology has to do a deep dive in to the risk and control environment.
- Managing the life cycle of content
- Managing content in accordance with laws and regulations per government obligations
- This team is responsible for controls and procedures
- High volume requests and the team are required to react
- Many procedures on the team and each has to be evaluated for proper
- Highly scrutinized process, every step has to be followed and evaluated, documented and determine if all controls are in place
- All potential failures have to be identified by evaluating steps
- Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups.
- Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives.
- Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners.
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience. In an ideal world this person would have RCSA experience
- We are requiring banking/financial services experience due to the regulatory environment requirements
- There is a distinction between someone who has dealt with RCSA and someone who has acted as a RCSA tester. -
- Someone who has the answers to that test is what the team is seeking
- This person needs to hear what someone is telling them and be able to identify what is missing.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, they will be spending a lot of time with variety of stakeholders even across different cultures, time zones etc.
- Procedure and Controls writing skills.
- Risk and Controls and Regulation experience is a requirement, does not mean they need to know very specificregulations
- 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
