Position Summary:
Description and criteria below that you can use to help us search for a Quantitative Financial Analyst with Member Financial Services. This role the candidate will provide ad hoc financial and quantitative data analysis in support of Member Financial Services, as well as meeting ongoing reporting requirements, involving sales, operational, regulatory and compliance reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Provides timely financial analysis in support of various weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Provides ongoing and ad hoc member data reports and data insights to support trade desk.
- Plans and conducts market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities to supports sales team through business intelligence analysis of member banks, credit unions, and insurance companies. Delivering insights to the sales team in an efficient manner.
- Integrate data from various internal and external sources, build key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, develop and present business intelligence inishgts around member business.
- Participates in department level projects and initiatives to enhance and improve processes, efficiencies and member engagement.
- Participates in the evaluation of department spreadsheets, databases, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with EUC policy, annual risk assessment, internal controls, SEC reporting, etc.; identifies, resolves, and implements any necessary remediation of compliance deficiencies.
- Performs analysis on existing Bank products, and associated accounting, legal, treasury, risk management, regulatory, and operational impacts.
Required Skills:
- Strong quantitative, analytic, and data skills like SQL.
- Finance or banking knowledge
Desired Skills:
- Solid understanding of balance sheet structure, capital structure and financial performance preferred.
- Experience with data processing, engineering, transformation, business intelligence and data visualization.
- Knowledge of fixed-income capital markets and associated pricing and valuation methods.
- Experience with Bloomberg and S&P Global Market Intelligence strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge SQL, VBA, R or Python, experience with tools such as PowerBI.
