Position: Desktop Engineer
Location: Malvern, PA 19355
Hourly Rate: $41.52/hr.
Term: 6 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Working at the direction of the client Project Manager, and with Technical Leads, and Business Leads to assist in driving the deliverables for all activity.
Testing and assisting in the remediation of the client desktop image and delivery issues.
Manage PC Lab and hardware certifications.
Reporting on the performance of various facets of the desktop image across hardware and virtual instances.
Confirming the effective delivery of Business Technology (BT) solutions for client’s operating plan is on time and within budget.
Executing quality checks against the client image, installed applications, and supporting infrastructure.
Assisting in the remediation of any desktop issues that may arise from testing.
Tracking all issues and documenting the resolution.
Tracking the needed modifications to build and design documentation.
Providing recommendations on enhancements to the desktop image and delivery methods.
Scripting solutions to automate fixes, verify settings, and deliver enhancements to desktop or supporting infrastructure.
Working to address long standing issues in the environment that affect the desktop or originate from the desktop build.
Building and/or rebuilding client systems to test modifications to the build process on an as needed basis.
Revising and updating migration methodology for PCs and tablets.
Resolving 3rd level ticket resolution.

Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting
Windows 10 imaging and troubleshooting experience
