QA Analyst / Tester

Grow your career as a QA Analyst/Tester with an innovative global bank in Elk Grove Village, IL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week. Will interpret requirements and perform contextual business focused testing. The test analyst will work with the testing lead and business analyst to build integration, regression, and functional tests.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Review application functional requirements and translate them into testing requirements.
  • Ability to understand current applications to build testing requirements.
  • Build and execute test cases in a formal testing environment.
  • Identify opportunities and implement changes to increase testing automation and testing depth.
 
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in a technical field is required.
  • 5+ years of technical background working as a programmer or tester.
  • Must be a seasoned QA Engineer (Lead).
  • Strong working knowledge of UNIX command line, UNIX scripting.
  • Knowledge of the Credit Card Industry.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Prefer knowledge of Autosys or other job scheduler.
  • Prefer experience with Credit Bureau attributes.
  • Prefer experience in HP ALM.
  • Prefer with experience building/enhancing/maintaining an automated regression test suite in UNIX.
