Position: Project Coordinator 
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid) 
Term: 4 months


The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for multiple technology projects utilizing Agile/DevOps methodologies.

This position will assist the IT Project Delivery team to build a small project office focused on delivering extra- small to small scoped initiatives to drive down delivery cycle time.  Specifically plan, direct, and manage technology infrastructure projects with extra small to small scope to enable Enterprise product delivery, new airport startups, reservation and administrative office moves, airport construction projects, and airport relocations. 


Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years of  information systems and business experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience using Agile methods and mindset as an approach to project management
  • 3+ years of leading small to medium IT infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Airline Industry experience, specifically managing airport technology projects, a plus

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) or ScrumMaster is a plus
  • Proficiency in airline industry business processes, standard tools, and techniques is a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups, as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Excellent leadership skills, team-focused with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Extensive project management experience with an emphasis on infrastructure deployment in a cross-functional, tightly managed technology environment
  • Proficiency in Rally, ADO,  or similar Agile life cycle management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word (PowerBI a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices
  • Ability to think strategically and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions
  • Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve objectives and goals
  • Ability to make quick decisions, and anticipate risks proactively across multiple projects, while maintaining high standards of performance
  • Strong analytical, estimating, and problem solving skills

Language & Communication Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
