Position: Regulatory Program Manager
Location: Charlotte NC, Minneapolis MN, Phoenix AZ, St Louis MO
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are long-term, line of business-wide, technical and medium to high in risk, scope, complexity.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of various sized initiatives and oversee execution of deliverables
  • Drive program work streams including the work design, problem solving, and working sessions
  • Develop or collaborate with PMO on developing program status reporting and identification and escalation of risks, issues, and/or key decisions.
  • Assist with small to group wide strategic planning activities and related implementation planning and execution
  • Lead or assist with leading ad-hoc initiatives, management requests, or new programs that impact the Regulatory Relations group
  • Assist with performing change management activities across the Regulatory Relations team - this work may also impact various Front Line and/or Enterprise Functions as well
  • Developing and maintaining numerous management presentations that may be needed or requested by senior management or one or more regulators
  • Liaise and partner with senior leaders across RAPA to drive projects owned by or requiring participation by Regulatory Relations
  • Partner with group managers to design and implement strategic analyses to meet group or company goals.
  • Provide oversight to various initiatives within Regulatory and Policy Affairs (RAPA) group that are related to business unit enhancements, process reengineering, process implementation, plan coordination and assist with various metrics reporting.
  • Recommend strategies and business directions and facilitate independent decisions on matters with some financial impact and risk.
  • Manage or participate in large cross-group projects and lead work stream efforts as necessary


Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 8+ Years' experience managing small/simple to large/complex initiatives from initiation through completion
  • 8+ Years’ experience as a program manager or project manager leading Fortune 100 initiatives.
  • 8+ Years’ experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps for group-wide business initiatives
  • 5+ Years’ experience developing management and c-suite level presentations
  • Rack record of success in collaborating, partnering with and influencing team members, managers, and leaders
  • 5+ year’s previous experience in a management consultancy role/function or Business Management role/function
  • Honed communication skills with exceptional ability to negotiate and facilitate collaboration
  • Effective leadership ability to drive successful execution of project plans; ability to plan, prioritize and set goals.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency about exceeding the objectives of the role
  • Exhibit an enthusiastic leadership style, driven and results oriented; comfortable working in a partnering environment and sometimes being the leader behind the scenes orchestrating the process
  • Possess superb collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions with demonstrated success in aligning divergent positions and bringing cohesion to diverse perspectives
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Disciplined approach to organizing initiative workflow and maximizing resources
  • Think and communicate strategically, and translate to actionable plans
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including front line businesses, and enterprise functions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, lead through adversity, and adjust to changing priorities
  • Experience with managing relationships with regulators and/or coordinating regulatory interactions (e.g. exams, data requests, supervisory meetings, etc.) is preferred
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Visio, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint
