Grow your career as a PMO Lead with an innovative global bank working in New York City, NY. 6+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for extension). Will be required to work onsite 3 days per week. Will provide hands on PMO support to the program, as well as leadership on PMO responsibilities. Will also be expected to proactively drive the appropriate project set up and project tracking.

Responsibilities:
  • Demand Management to profile new project requests, provide timely book of updates to requestors.
  • Status Reporting to other change teams, business functions and sponsor.
  • Monitor & maintain Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies, escalating as appropriate.
  • Production of executive level program governance material suitable for external bodies e.g., regulators.
  • Track issue management and correction action plans linked to program deliverables.
  • Buildout and maintenance of the strategic program roadmap with benefit tracking.
  • Change management entailing identification and impact assessment of scope, schedule and resource requests.
  • Manage dependencies across legal entities, and regions as well as reporting requirements for regulators, risk partners and front office product groups.

Qualifications:
  • Recent (2 to 4) years of experience in a major bank or asset manager as a PMO.
  • Experience pulling together decks for senior management forums and delivering an initial product for review that is materially complete and where they have performed robust QA.
  • Must have financial services background.
  • Must have strong reporting/analytics skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Disciplined and methodical approach to PMO activities.
  • Experience in overseeing deliverables from initiative, through to closure and beyond into sustainability.
  • Experience in performing PMO roles on large and complex global programmes including regulatory mandates.
  • Hands on experience in managing PMO activities across regulatory programs to challenging non-negotiable timelines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing project controls to monitor and project assurance to assess adherence to program governance.
  • Ability to analyse project data to identify quality assurance emerging issues across risks, resourcing and scope delivery.
  • Experience drafting new and improving program standards and processes as well as briefing project managers.
