Position: PET/CT Hot cell Support Engineering Technician
Location: Knoxville, TN 37932
Term: 12 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing all hot cell (PET/CT test systems) and prototype support activities to test new products in the manner in which will be used in a clinical environment.
  • Installation and de-installation of PET/CT test systems.
  • Understanding and following procedures for installing and un-installing PET/CT systems.
  • Maintaining, refurbishing, and upgrading equipment so that product and quality standards can be met.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on PET/CT test systems.
  • Repairing PET/CT test systems in a timely manner with the use of manuals and drawings.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of basic electrical problems.
  • Maintaining a positive work environment with co-workers
  • Adhering to all company work rules, safety rules, and practices.
  • Use or wear all appropriate safety equipment.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 - 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Read and write in English.
  • Work well independently.
  • Operate lift trucks upon completion of training
  • Practical knowledge or experience in mechanical systems and proficiency in the use of hand tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • The ability for walking, do heavy lifting, push, pull and sweep.
