Our client is a leader in the Outside Plant and Telecom Construction industry throughout the South and Eastern US. They are a highly stable and continually growing organization that has continued to look to grow their employees and promote from within whenever possible. They are currently looking to add an experienced Outside Plant Technician for their new fiberoptic construction operations. The role will provide Quality Control for all of their new fiber optic cabling work in the field.
Location: Ft. Pierce, FL and surrounding geography. The client will provide a company vehicle.
This is a direct hire position.
What the selected candidate will need:
- Previous OSP construction experience in the field.
- Ability to interpret diagrams, blueprints or layouts against equipment installed in the field and log and report on discrepancies
- Attention to detail and good work ethic
- Previous experience with quality control inspection or break-fix work with new or existing copper or fiber optic cabling is preferred
