Operational Risk Analyst

Grow your career as an Operational Risk Analyst with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
  • Provide governance and oversight may include (not limited to) technology operational risk, risk for example.
  • Ensure that all product, operational, fiduciary, regulatory and payment system risks are actively identified, monitored, and adequately controlled.
  • Identify system or process weaknesses, proposing resolutions that will mitigate the exposure and increase processing efficiency.
  • Integrate other control functions to ensure all risks are fully scrutinized.
  • Identify risks that cross the businesses and organize cross-functional solutions.
  • Track and resolve on all risk issues - Process Management - Ad Hoc reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree is required.
  • Risk analysis experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Must be a professional in Excel.
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
