Network Specialist - Security

We are working with a very long-standing client who is looking for a Network Security Engineer.  This company is very stable, but growing considerable.  This growth has sparked the need invest in a more modernized technology road map across the board, which has also included bring previously outsourced areas back inhouse under new visionary leadership. 

 

This role will be working with the Security Architect other leaders and engineers in support of new and existing technology, process and design for security systems and procedures, including but not limited to: firewalls, SSO/SSL, vulnerabilities and cyber security.  There is considerable growth potential for this person in this area as they continue their expansion.

The role will involved mostly remote work, but some occasional onsite in Atlanta as needed for meetings.

What the ideal candidate will bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of experience in firewall security
  • 2+ years experience with network engineering or network security including TCP/IP and Load balancers
  • Strong knowledge or experience with SSL, network security and or cyber security concepts and functions
