Network / IT Administrator - Duluth, GA

Privately held and forward-thinking travel company seeking a Network/IT Administrator for their growing team based in Duluth, GA.  The infrastructure and technology plays a critical role in the success of this organization so ideal candidate will have a passion for growing their technical skills and wearing a variety of infrastructure hats!  

Responsibilities Include:

 
  • Administers and troubleshoots office computing systems and LAN/WAN infrastructure
  • Provides hardware and software support to associates in office and virtual

  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with physical and data security policies while implementing solutions

  • Supports the Telecommunications Specialist including:

    • Configures and performs administrative tasks for Avaya IPO Office

    • Maintains and supports virtual infrastructure

    • Interfaces with telecom vendors as needed

  • Supports the Technical Product Support Specialist including:

    • Handles complex GDS technical issues

    • Provides desktops, mobile devices and applications support

    • Answers, logs and resolves Help Desk calls and related support tickets

  • Supports the System Architects including:

    • Supports the backup systems

    • Maintains Active Directory, One Login and other IAM systems

    • Supports virtualization including VMware and AWS

  • Mentors and trains other network and support personnel

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate has a good mix of the following: 

  • 3+ years of LAN/WAN administration and desktop support

  • 3+ years of computer systems management and administration with VMware experience preferred

  • Hands on experience supporting virtual and mobile workforces

  • Thorough understanding and experience of VoIP concepts and methodologies 

  • Detail and deadline oriented with strong customer service skills

  • Collaborative by nature and thrives in a team environment

  • High degree of initiative along with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Microsoft MCSE 

  • Cisco CCNA
