Excellent place to work and technically forward thinking organization in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Microsoft 365 Engineer with a heavy emphasis on Security.  This is permanent role on the Cloud Services team, that's responsible for providing solutions based on the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the management and adoption of Microsoft 365 services.  This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week (Tuesday) onsite and 4 days remote.  Highly preferred that candidates for this role, live local to Dallas / Fort Worth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the M365 Engineer, you will ensure that all Microsoft 365 services are deployed and managed according to best practices and are leveraged in a cost-effective manner. You must be able to demonstrate an expert-level technical understanding of the Microsoft 365 stack and have a history of success translating business needs into sustainable solutions. Will engage in the following duties, but not be limited to:

  • Coordination and internal communication of all M365 roadmap releases. Identifying features that would provide value to the organization, ensuring that proper planning, tracking, and communication is in place for upcoming changes
  • Perform primary administration of the following Microsoft 365 services. 
  • Will have a heavy emphasis on M365 security.

    • Identity & Access Management:
    • O365 CAS
    • Windows Information Protection
    • Microsoft Defender Suite

  • Files and Content:
    • Planner

    • Power Automate
    • Work Management
    • Forms and Dynamics 365 Customer Voice (Forms Pro)
    • Stream

  • Endpoint and app management:
    • Intune with AutoPilot
    • MDM/MAM
  • eDiscovery & auditing
  • Assist the SharePoint Team with the migration to and administration of SharePoint Online
  • Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
  • Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Seven plus (7+) years of progressive IT experience, with at least three (3+) years of senior-level Microsoft 365 administration in an enterprise environment
  • Microsoft Exchange administration including experience with mail authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), spam filtering, and
  • Files retention management
  • Experience in PowerShell, Azure CLI, Ansible or similar configuration management and automation tools

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Seven plus (7+) years of demonstrated progressive experience with relevant Microsoft technologies
  • Familiarity with advanced telemetry tools such as Elastic, Splunk, or Application Insights
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD
  • ServiceNow
  • Security and Compliance center
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND COMPLIANCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field. Bachelor’s degree requirement can be substituted with additional years of experience and/or industry certifications
  • Valid Texas driver’s license
  • Must pass a Texas DPS/FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) criminal history background check and maintain CJIS eligibility.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS, one or more of the following:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
