Title: Marketing Coordinator
Location: San Mateo, CA (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Our exciting SaaS client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with Events experience. 


  • Support overall execution of demand gen activities from concept and strategy creation to planning and execution. 
  • Includes event operations, logistics, communications, staffing assignments, budget management, post-event impact analysis and agency/contractor management
  • Work with multiple vendors on upcoming sponsorship activity, fulfilling logistical requests and updating internal spreadsheet with recent activity
  • Open PO’s, negotiate and execute contracts
  • Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory including collateral, giveaways, etc.
  • Track expenses and reconciliation
  • Create pre-show and post-show communications
  • Maintain overall organization with show schedules & task checklists through online management tools
  • Collect feedback and metrics to forecast trends that improve future activity and support ROI
  • Collect event specifications and accurately communicate those specifications to internal departments and external vendors
  • Assist in any other project assignments as approved through the Program Manager
  • Pro-active, able to work on own initiative with little direction
  • Ability to anticipate future needs without prompting from management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, and time management
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40lbs
  • Onsite duties may require bending, walking, or standing for an extended period of time
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (including basic knowledge of Excel)


  • Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area and be able to work at HQ in San Mateo when needed 
  • Willingness to travel 20-35%
