Manager of Systems Analysis -REMOTE

Our client is seeking a Manager of Systems Analysis for a remote opportunity.

This person will be responsible for the following:
  • Leads a high performing team of System Analysts who play a critical role in product and project delivery.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert in practice management solutions and applications built to support patient care.
  • Triages production defects and work with vendors and stakeholders on issue resolution.
  • Translates business requirements into appropriate user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyzes business processes, gaps in capabilities, data sources and interfaces to define business requirements.
  • Develops quality assurance (QA) test plans, contributes towards execution of QA testing, and provides support for business stakeholders performing user acceptance testing.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to maintain healthy product backlog.
  • Manages vendor relationships for key platforms.
  • Collaborates with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders.

What You’ll Need
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years system administration or system engineering required with seven (7) years preferred or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • In addition to the education and/or experience required above, three (3) years of IT management experience.
  • Experience leading IT teams in a multi-location retail or healthcare environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop team members and lead by example.
  • Intermediate knowledge of systems analysis and experience participating in Agile Development efforts, and playing a key role toward successful implementation of initiatives required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of application SaaS solution configuration to support business process/rules, workflow creation, and reporting queries required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Agile Concepts and Toolsets (Sprint Planning, User Stories, ADO, etc.) required.
  • Intermediate technical and analytical skills required.
  • Intermediate written, oral communication, project management, presentation and change management skills required.
  • Intermediate project management skills with a high level of personal initiative and results-orientation required.
  • Basic experience with AWS or Azure preferred.
  • Basic healthcare industry experience and HIPAA knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to query tables using SQL for analytical purposes.
