Position Summary:
We are hiring a LMS UI Developer to join the Education Services team to work on front-end customer facing user interfaces. This position is a blend of administrator and developer responsibilities. The Education Systems team works to optimize key business and engagement metrics via an education learning platform and our hands-on labs solution. We are a group of System Admins and Designers, who are a creative, curious bunch that like to tweak and challenge the status quo. We work closely with the Web team, Marketing and Engineering. We also work with our external vendors for the LMS and lab environment platforms.
As a LMS UI Developer, your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of the company Education training websites, learning portal and web application’s user interfaces along with any customer facing training sites. This involves working closely with our UX designer and project drivers to implement scalable solutions that deliver a one of a kind customer experience. As an administrator, you will also be responsible for working closely with the training operations team for the LMS needs.

Build and maintain Learning Management System front end using UX wireframe and vendor API

Participate on cross-team initiatives from end to end: code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, etc.

Design and develop technical solutions that address constraints and improve our processes

Partner with UX designer and team members to define, scope, prioritize, and build designs from concept to production

Manage LMS integrations (Salesforce, Zoom, etc)

Evaluate and test new LMS features to determine impact on business strategy and user experience

Write and maintain technical documentation and procedures for LMS

Work with internal teams to provide guidance on how the LMS functions and integrates with other technologies; Provide training and hands-on assistance for internal users

Manage data, reports, and dashboards to show completion rates, project progress, and success measurement

Testing system functionality in the LMS

Identify and communicate areas for process and quality improvements

Collaborate with IT and other internal teams to troubleshoot issues
Required Skills:
-
Enjoy working on a small, collaborative and cross-functional team
-
Experience with Learning Management Systems administration (preferably with Administrate)
-
Experience with Training or Learning and Development organizations a plus
-
Are an expert with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
-
Have REST API and GraphQL API proficiency
-
Modern Web Framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
-
Experience with LMS integrations
-
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
-
Have Git experience
-
JIRA for version control
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and a user-centric attitude
Desired Skills:

Experience working with Design tools such as Figma, etc.

An interest or passion for being in a product focused environment and cares about customer impact

Good understanding of web accessibility
