Libor Transitions Business Analyst

Grow your career as a Libor Transitions Business Analyst with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be working remotely, but may come onsite if/when needed for important meetings, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the technology and business to assist with overseeing testing of front to back enhancements in response to LIBOR transition.
  • Support with Governance team with LIBOR related regulatory responses. Assist with coordination with stakeholders for Impact Assessments across finance governance teams, model developers, model risk management, various risk groups and technology.
  • Monitor and manage program risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies whilst escalating to senior management as required.
  • Oversee program plans and tracking of progress and changes.
  • Coordinate collation and production of materials for relevant program governance forums.
  • Facilitate workshops and planning sessions as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc central program management requests as they arise.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree is required. Prefer advanced degree in Economics or Finance or related discipline.
  • Recognized program/project management qualification such as PRINCE2, MSP etc.
  • 5 to 10 years of business analysis experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in working within a PMO.
  • Prefer experience within technology/models/regulatory related roles.
  • Must have strong technology life cycle understanding.
  • Must have understanding of program management methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in facilitating workshops and program planning sessions.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders across multiple businesses, regions and support functions.
  • Must have experience in analytics with exceptional problem solving skills, with exceptional Excel skills.
  • Excellent planning and task management skills.
  • Prefer understanding of LIBOR and its implications within the industry.
  • Prefer Derivative and Cash Product understanding.
  • Prefer experience and understanding of model lifecycle and governance.
  • Prefer regulatory interaction through roles in Market risk and/or Counterparty Credit Risk management or regulatory and reporting.
