Position: Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant
Location: CHANDLER, Arizona, 85286
Term: 24 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Balance strategy and technical delivery to help identify product features essential to bring value to internal customers and to deliver robust, companywide technology solutions while adhering to standards and governance.
Apply deep technical understanding of API lifecycle to promote API as a product.
Collaborate and consult with product owners, cross-functional teams and Line of Business partners to guide product development, prioritization, decision-making and delivery commitments.
Define roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, meaningful metrics, and milestones for one or more technical product lines.
Define feedback mechanisms and metrics to measure customer satisfaction.
Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise API Modernization technology initiatives.
Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
Coach Product Owners and assist with strategic product recommendations.
Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams.
Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives.
Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives.
Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements.
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions.
Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables.
Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems.
Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years of technology product management experience.
  • Experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product target.
  • SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience.
  • Knowledge of APIs, the API Lifecycle, API security concerns and OWASP.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with API Gateway products, like Apigee, DataPower, etc.
  • Experience with industry standard product methodologies , frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience accommodating regulatory changes in product planning.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working in financial services or a similar regulated industry.
