This leading Dallas-based international law firm has an immediate full-time opening for a Junior C# Back-End Developer.  This position requires working onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Will work on a team of 5 and be responsible for the data analysis and integration of 3rd party software which requires C# Back-end programming against an API and utilizing strong SQL skills to data mine internal and external systems.  Will also be working extensively with SQL Server databases leveraging SSIS and SSRS. Focus will be on the design, development and testing of custom enterprise applications, utilities and system integration tools.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working with project sponsors to define the scope of work and functional specifications for custom applications.
  • Managing the life cycle of the custom application including design, coding, debugging, testing and maintenance.
  • Designing and developing the code necessary to satisfy the agreed on functional specifications.
  • Documenting, tracking and resolving all software related bugs for the custom applications.
  • Documenting, tracking and implementing approved design and feature modifications and enhancements.
  • Performing a complete analysis of the business issue to ensure that the application being requested will meet the business needs.
  • Coordinating with the Director of Information Technology and other IT staff to allow for proper training, support and operation of the custom application.
  • Documenting and transferring appropriate knowledge to the Support Center and Network Operations staff to allow for day-to-day troubleshooting task and operational functionality, such as stopping and starting the application and proper backup.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, computer science or business administration or, the equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of C# Back-End Development experience.
  • API experience
  • Experience with SQL Queries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and/or PowerBI is a plus.
