Summary
The IT Lead will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the company’s computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. The IT Lead will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing needs.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. IT Management Tasks
* As part of a global IT organization, IT Lead must be able to work closely with colleagues from internal and external customers.
* Create and manage the annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
* Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
* IT systematic planning
* Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
* Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
* Audit systems and assess their outcomes
* Assist with the annual financial and IT audits
* Manage information technology and computer systems, including confidential information.
* Help coordinate IT policies, procedures and audits with all company entities in the Americas

2. IT System Implement Tasks
* Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
* Review, renew, modify, enforce and management the company’s service agreement with all outside IT service providers
* Submit purchase requisitions to General Manager for approved purchases and place order to vendors
* Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
* Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems (including business application, infrastructure and security), policies and procedures

3. IT System, Security Maintenance Tasks
* Provide support for the company’s network, software and hardware for the company’s manufacturing and distribution businesses (includes mobile devices).
* Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems
* Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
* Preserve assets, information security and control structures
* Escalate unresolved issues to next level support
* Review and execute education program
* Security Incident Response

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
* 7 to 15 years of experience leading IT-related projects
* Team player able to work with a diverse group of people
* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software and security systems
* Expertise in security management and data governance
* Vendor management (or Hands-on) experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
* Must be very detail oriented, highly organized and a self-starter
* Must be able to work quick, clean and complete -- no loose ends, and meet deadlines
* Expertise in network infrastructure

Skills
* Basic computer skills (Outlook email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.); advanced skills a plus
* Strong time management skills
* Strong written & verbal communication skills
* Strong "attention to details" skills
*Must be able to work independently with little supervision 

Preferred Qualification
* Expertise in virtual environments
* Experience in SAP All-in-one platform a plus
* Proficiency in writing & verbal communication in Japanese and/or Korean
* Write/modify ISO-9000 procedures as necessary to ensure procedures are current Physical Demands
* Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
* Regular and consistent attendance at the office.
* Ability to travel regularly by airline and public transportation systems.
* Noise levels low to moderate
* Ability to lift 20 pounds

Communication
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees in company
* Korean language a plus, but not required
