Terrific Contract Opportunity!
Position: Field Service Technician
Location: Chicago, Illinois, 60646
Term: 3 Months Contract-to-hire (10/12/2020 to 01/09/2021)
Schedule: Hours are 32 hours Fri-Mon 8 hours/day with 8 hours for on-call and after-hours support on the weekends.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Candidate must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with Lexmark printers, Dell Enterprise hardware, and Point of Sales equipment a plus.
  • Previous Field Service and/or Desktop, POS, printer Break/Fix experience.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • CompTIA A+
