Position: ETL Developer
Location: Des Moines, IA
Term: 12 Months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Work with both business and technology partners to understand business need
Lead ETL development in a large data mart environment utilizing Ab Initio.
Hands on technical expertise in large data environments like Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server.
Planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of ETL/data mart applications.
Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of ETL development and analysis activities.
Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction.
Leverages past and current experiences to define group best practices. Advocates understanding and consensus of such best practices to improve the overall group work quality.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

7+ years of data warehouse experience
7+ years of ETL development experience
5+ years of experience with Ab Initio GDE development
5+ years of experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such a SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
5+ years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
Experience with data analysis/mapping for Ab Initio ETL
Experience creating SQL statements/scripts to unit test and validate data as the result of new ETL development
