Dynamic 3rd party logistics company is hiring a Enterprise Systems Analyst (MS Dynamics) for a permanent role in their IT department.  This position is 100% remote, where you can work from home but it is required that candidates live in the Eastern or Central time zones.  Must have experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and understand the architectural components of this SaaS product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Enterprise Systems Analyst, you will partner with the operations and accounting users for the Material Handling division to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance overall user experience of all implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules.  You will support all aspects of the material handling business including sales, service, branches, and rental of material handling equipment.  Additional duties include:

  • Provide technical solutions to assist with adhoc system requests from the business functional areas.
  • Develop, enhance, and migrate reports and business intelligence solutions within Equipsoft/Business Central.
  • Perform solution upgrades, patching, and day to day support of the material handling ERP.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI for development to enhance processes consumed by PC and/or tablet.
  • Effectively communicate to business user base in non-technical terms.
  • Provide project management for scheduled deployments of custom code, product defect corrections, etc.
  • Perform proactive application monitoring, maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
  • Work with applicable vendors to troubleshoot issues and create system change requests.
  • Identify ongoing issues, implements corrective actions to reduce repetitive support cases and when warranted, provide detailed root cause analysis reports.
  • Adhere to departmental IT Change Control policies when delivering user enhancements or configuration changes.
  • Manage user expectations and facilitate appropriate escalation responses that engage internal or external resources when warranted.
  • Document application dependencies, specific workflows, integrations, and dependent applications for the Microsoft accounting platforms.
  • Support business operations though the automation of data intensive tasks
  • Administer user accounts and security roles in the Microsoft accounting platforms.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ensure best practices are followed for Security, Reporting, Vendor and Stakeholder relationships.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or business-related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supporting back office users is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years providing real-time technical and functional support to users in operations, finance, accounting and field service.
  • Basic IT knowledge of desktop operating systems, network connectivity and Terminal Server (RDC) environments.
  • General knowledge of Business Central solution architecture in the application layer and schema within SQL and ODATA.
  • Support tool skills utilizing any HelpDesk, Change Management control ticketing system, TeamViewer or Webex.
  • Proficient with common business applications, minimally MS Office Suite, Visio and MS Project.
