 This leading nationwide insurance company has an immediate full-time opening in Addison, TX for .NET Developer.  This position offers a hybrid model where you work in the office a few days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Development lifecycle of software applications and other business process optimization projects

  • Maintain software applications, including upgrade, enhancements, and patches

  • Diagnose and resolve system problems

  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and quality

  • Work cross-functionally to assist with problem solving and project plan activities

  • Respond to inquiries, requests in a timely fashion

  • Assist with development by gathering information, performing analysis, and eliciting the details of user requirements in discussion with users

  • Complete design, documentation, development, testing and debugging tasks working within a team

  • Support application software by fixing problems and making enhancements

  • Develop and implement other business optimization projects and solutions including enhancements and upgrades

  • Works with others, provides feedback and guidance to less experienced

This position requires:

  • 8-10 years of .NET Development experience.

  • Team focused

  • Capable of operating autonomously on many development and maintenance activities.

  • Effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates, and external resources.

  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and project life cycle principles

  • Advanced knowledge of various programming languages and/or advanced knowledge of web design languages, scripting tools and protocols
