Documentum Administrator

Grow your career as a Documentum Administrator with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week. Will provide technical expertise to the Middleware Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team and administer the server. Will have a strong focus on communication and technical skills, system stability, quality and functionality against user expectations, problem management and resolution, including issue documentation, root cause analysis and trend analysis. Will also ensure all processes and procedures are always being followed to comply with both internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of how areas of apps support collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing.
  • Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production.
  • Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates. Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
  • Consider implications of the application of technology to the current environment.
  • Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information. Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions. Cooperation with development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
  • Directly impact the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams. Exchanges ideas and information.
  • Active involvement in and ownership of support project items, covering stability, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned in a concise and logical manner.
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree is required. Prefer Masters degree.
  • Prefer Documentum related certification.
  • 5+ years of total IT experience in Enterprise Content Management software (Documentum, KOFAX, ABBYY etc.).
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in Documentum server administration using best practices and standards.
  • Technology expertise in Ab Initio, ETL, Ab Initio on Hadoop and Unix/Linux with knowledge of banking industry to support multiple franchise critical company applications with very tight SLAs and deadlines.
  • Experience with Documentum and Imaging technologies.
  • Prefer hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining the Documentum and Imaging (Documentum) solutions.
  • Familiar with the Documentum Server Architecture and KOFAX KTM, KIC components.
  • Working knowledge of Documentum administration, maintenance and support (including Patching and Upgrades).
  • Understanding of the various supported authentication security models for Documentum, i.e.,: SSO options, re-authentication on data sources, SAML, Active Directory.
  • Solid understanding of Documentum Administration (DA) tool.
  • Experience in executing various Reporting Tool administration activities; including monitoring, capacity management, performance optimization, reporting.
  • Ability to recognize areas for automation and optimization demonstrating the Documentum REST APIs.
  • Report administration (using Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Skilled with MS Office.
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation required to support the server infrastructure.
  • Experience in driving out requirements and building documentation process.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure Platform.
  • Prefer experience working with Relational Databases (SQL Server - required, Oracle).
  • Prefer experience with JIRA/SharePoint Usage/Confluence.
