Grow your career as a Compliance Risk Business Analyst with an innovative global bank. 6+ month contract with potential to extend. Will require working onsite 2-3 days per week.

Will support the Global and Regional Lead in executing remediation programs, aligned initiatives and completing assessments across compliance risk areas. Will engage with both line of business and functions across the 1st and 2nd Line, to define and implement the required end to end compliance risk control framework, requiring extensive coordination with internal stakeholders to support and meet required standards, while enabling suitable engagement with impacted lines of business. In addition, will require specialist expertise in key compliance risks, along with project delivery and implementation skills to deliver sustainable outcomes across business and regions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree is required.
  • Experience working within risk areas dealing with regulatory or compliance risk in 1st or 2nd line of defense.
  • Regulatory risk mitigation mindset.
  • Experience in risks and controls, particularly in the assessment of control design and implementation of regulatory controls.
  • Must have strong change management and project management skills.
  • Experience in Merchant Banking and Leveraged lending.
  • Experience implementing change in institutional business lines, geographies and functions.
  • Must have experience from within large scale transformation programs.
  • Sound understanding and experience of key processes with an Investment Bank.
  • Prefer experience in key regulations such as MiFID II/MiFIR, Volcker, EMIR, MAR and prudential regulations e.g., Reg K, Reg W.
  • Able to provide support to leadership and influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.
