The Complex Quoting Analyst will join a team comprised of 20 people so support a long-term project. This role may offer opportunity to go perm with the company down the road. In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening the internal client relationships and seek out opportunities to increase revenue within each client engagement by developing excellent rapport and going above and beyond.
Role/Responsibilities:
This role is an internal customer facing role with complex quoting. The QuoteCenter fuels and supports marketplace sales from within their global supply chain. In this role, you will join a team of 20 people comprised of engineers, designers, merchants, marketers, data scientists, field support and operations analysts that work together to drive their business forward. QuoteCenter has the scale and network of a $150B+ organization, with the access and entrepreneurial spirit of a small company. This role will support complex quoting, internal customer facing role. Complex quoting involves different vendors, delivery capabilities, supporting the outside sales team for "Special Orders", direct delivery and supports the product SME’s. Industry experience in the lumber business is a huge plus. Electrical industry experience is also a plus, (experience with conduit and wire). This role is based in Atlanta but will also support the Portland, Oregon office. This role requires a high sense or urgency and respond quickly to things. Very customer facing so personality is very important for this role.

Desired skills:
1. Ideal candidate will have some background or experience with the lumber or electrical industry (this is not required but a huge plus).
Sales Operations/Sales Support:
• Client Relationship Management: Strengthen internal client relationships and seek out opportunities to increase revenue within each client engagement by developing excellent rapport and going above and beyond at all times.
• Project Delivery and Management: Deliver assigned work on time and error free, develop follow up action items, and participate in on-site and virtual client meetings.
• Client Communication: Engage with client and deliver analyses to assist with the future direction of their sales performance and sales force effectiveness programs.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Collaborate with team members to develop innovative and adaptable solutions in order to meet changing client business needs and create repeatable standards that can be leveraged across the organization.
Required Skills:
• 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably providing technology-based professional services, management consulting or other work providing professional services to Global 2000 companies
• Experience working in or delivering work to clients in the insurance, financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, distribution, and/or retail industries
• Demonstrated ability to perform effective planning, work independently, take initiative and manage multiple assignments
• Very strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS Powerpoint)
• A working style that is rooted in ownership, passion, teamwork, innovation, and collaboration
• MBA preferred; BA or BS degree in business or a technical field of study from a top-tier university required
