Title: Claims Assistant
Location: Sacramento, CA 95833
Term: 4 Months Contract
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the California Pooling Litigation Management Team and to perform other office tasks depending on the client program
- Sets up and enters new claims into One JURIS Claim system
- Inputs and reviews notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed
- Prepares and processes acknowledgment correspondence and excess insurer notifications
- Reviews, prepares, creates, and/or sends letters, reports, and forms
- Other activities/projects as assigned including the preparation and distribution of computer reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Supports the organization's quality program(s)
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
- 6 months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be a proficient writer
- AA Degree or some College-level coursework preferred
- Must have experience in One JURIS claims system
- Should be familiar with liability claim intake and set-up, and familiarity with the Sedgwick Juris claims system
- Must have experience in One JURIS claims system
