Take your career in an upward direction with a long-term contract at an innovative global bank as a Business Systems Consultant in New York, NY.
  • Manage delivery of solutions to business users with minimal oversight.
  • Integrate solutions with existing services and create new services as appropriate.
  • Deliver to high engineering standards following the key Agile and DevOps principles.
  • Partner with business users and other technology teams to deliver solutions.
  • Able to focus on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience.
  • Background of delivering software using an iterative Agile approach.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Equity Derivatives and/or Delta 1 desirable (but not essential).
  • Front Office Systems experience (any of the following: Trade Capture, Trading, Risk, Portfolio Management). Prefer equities also other asset classes.
  • Experience with JVM based development using Kotlin, Java or Scala.
  • SQL or NoSQL
  • Experience and aptitude of Agile and DevOps approaches – e.g., continuous integration, test automation, frequent releases, containerization.
  • Experience of developing reactive Web-based UI (either React or Angular).
  • Understanding of HTTP and REST based architectures.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Any experience with tools such as TeamCity, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Amazon Web Services would be beneficial.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in owning and driving success delivery to business users.
  • Comfortable dealing directly with users to understand requirements and explore solutions.
