Position: JIRA and SharePoint Requirements Assets Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, Minneapolis, NYC or San Francisco 
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate work across cross-functional teams (Product and Technology), for the purpose of ensuring Global Product epic and user story artifacts are in adherence with Governance processes and quality controls
  • Facilitate the movement of epics and user stories to various technology JIRA boards to facilitate sprint execution for team’s portfolio of project work.
  • Facilitate the ongoing update / maintenance of epics and user stories by partnering with Global Product Managers and Business Analysts to load and maintain within JIRA and Confluence
  • SharePoint administration including access management, trouble shooting and creation of SharePoint sites, lists, views, and libraries
    • Work with site owner on routine maintenance
      • Content cleanup to adhere to the clients Data Retention Policy
      • Archiving SharePoint sites and lists that are no longer needed while keeping for historical purposes
  • Ensure training and support documentation is available and up to date


Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience within Financial Services Product Management, including applied experience in creating and maintaining user story supported by an Agile process methodology.
  • Must have applied knowledge of JIRA, leveraged for requirements management including user story development and other functions for moving stories to various technology boards for sprint execution
  • Must have Applied knowledge of Confluence and how it integrates with JIRA
  • Must have SharePoint Administration and Design experience, including:
    • Creating SharePoint sites, lists, views, libraries, and creative content
    • Managing permissions at all levels (site, library, folder, and documents)
    • Knowledge of how SharePoint integrates with other Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Access etc.)


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to track and manage user stories across multiple JIRA boards
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to see the ‘big’ picture when assessing complex initiatives and potential impacts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
