Position: Business Analyst
Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, 28282
Term: 12 months

Our Client is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager as part of the Business Deposits team within the Deposit Products Group.
 
This mid-senior level individual contributor will act as a Business Analyst between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems solved through strategic system solutions. This individual will support 1-2 Agile Scrum teams that work on enhancing new account fulfillment capabilities through the client’s “Small Business Become a Customer” journey.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead requirements elicitation sessions to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes
  • Be part of a scrum team and participate in daily standups, lead grooming refinement sessions, authoring user stories with acceptance criteria, attend size/commit sessions, and provide feedback in retrospectives
  • Produce business requirement artifacts – including User Stories, Use Cases and UML activity diagrams, Business Rules, and Supplemental (Non- Functional) Specifications– for complex capabilities
  • Use requirements management software to create business requirements documentation
  • Lead or participate in a variety of technical efforts
  • Review and analyze complex business problems related to system capabilities, process flows, or user experiences that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Independently research and resolve testing/production issues with technically complex conditions
  • Lead team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
  • Use effective communication skills to collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience providing Business Analyst support in an Agile environment for microservices architecture, APIs, and monolithic app conversion projects
  • Experience working for a bank/financial institution
  • Experience using Jama, Jira or similar requirements management software
  • Experience using behavior driven development techniques for writing user story acceptance criteria

Job Expectations:
  • This role will not allow telecommuting and will be part of a hybrid office model. Candidates must be willing to work out one of our Charlotte, NC office locations approximately 3 days a week. Relocation is not available for this position.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
