February Topic: Service Design in the SDLC: Getting to NEED | Speaker: David Mantica
No matter what type of project framework you utilize, successfully delivery of a “needed” output will always be a risk. The reason – all project frameworks rely on a vision/business requirement(s)/project charter to kick off. That document, whatever your company calls it, is the call to action that drives the work output.Who in your organization provides input and direction into that document? How much research, thought and technique goes into vetting out the concept? The VERY scary typical answer to this question is simply, “the boss says this is what we have to do”.Organizations are realizing that they must put more rigor and time into vetting the change concepts and testing the “things” that drive needed change. Professionals in this area can be product owners, product managers, business analysts, business architects, solution architects, agile practitioners, or executive leadership. The key is whomever does the work needs to start utilizing tools and techniques of Service Design to figure out what your customers will respond to. Using these tools and techniques will increase the likelihood that what you kick off will product value. Topics covered in this web seminar including:
