Job Title: Varicent Configuration Analyst

If you are seeking a great job with a great company and have experience with Varicent please read on! We are seeking a configuration analyst/developer that has worked within the framework/tool and understands databases - primarily SQL, and workflow.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
- Perform business configuration of Varicent through configuration components (data, calculations, reports, business flows)
- Create and/or maintain the Varicent model (parameters tables, etc.)
- Assist with managing reference data and payee information
- Configure business calculations in Varicent
- Build configurable process flows to support overall business process and approvals
- Assist with creating and/or maintaining Varicent end-user reports and incentive admin views
- Partner with Incentive Compensation Center Of Excellence incentive admins, Incentive Compensation Product Owner, and multiple product team members
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions, review user stories, and user acceptance criteria
- Assist with documentation to capture data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1-3 years of technical design experience
- 1-3 years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
- 1-3 years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
Desired qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript
- Agile / scrum experience
- Varicent experience
- Experience with variable and incentive compensation
- Experience working with transaction-based incentive compensation plans
- Knowledge and understanding of automated workflows design
- Ability to implement a solution and communicate, in clear business terms, the benefits of the proposed risk management approach
- Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
