Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Encompass leading the design and execution of traditional research activities (e.g., surveys, interviews), while also including more User Experience-focused research methods such as usability testing, and ethnographies.

Consult on research and feedback needs with internal clients and determine methods consistent with business and customer goals and objectives.

Lead the design of the research instrument which pursues truth and results in knowledge creation while mindful of participant time.

Facilitate the development and execution of research method.

Create meaningful, action-oriented knowledge, producing professionally packaged research results.

Track and report on product performance issues and resolutions closing the research loop with product teams.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

BA/BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Social Sciences, Design, Digital Media, or related discipline.

Minimum of four years of professional experience as a UX designer, UX Researcher, Usability Analyst, or similar role.

Experience with iterative usability testing and benchmark testing.

Experience working on Mobile and Desktop experiences.

Experience designing complex data visualization experiences.

Experience facilitating usability studies.
-
Experience conducting accessibility audits.
-
Experience using online/remote usability tools.
-
Experience with the use of Axure for prototyping.

Comfortable working face-to-face or in virtual settings across multiple time zones.

Excellent written communication skills to enable salient, comprehensive report writing.

CUA certified
-
Strong understanding of combining User-Centered Design principals with user research.

Exceptional presentation abilities, both verbal and visual.
