Dynamic contract opportunity with a progressive commercial real estate services company.
 
Position: Systems Engineer
Location: Richardson, Texas 75082
Hourly Rate: $40.87/hr.
Term: 3 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all D&T assets and record all findings, changes and physical location.
  • Ensure that hardware assets are tracked appropriately; analyze and reconcile the resulting data.
  • Ensure compliance with all D&T asset management policies.
  • Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific D&T Asset Management data information.
  • Document, communicate and maintain standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Assess the age and condition of D&T assets on a semi-annual basis and provide report to support the hardware refresh cycle.
  • Assist audit requests from internal and external sources as appropriate.
  • Recognize potential risks (monetary and/or security related) and recommend solutions to management.
  • Conduct quarterly disposal asset reports and ensure that all records are correctly updated.
  • Work with current management tools to improve existing processes and to maintain service catalog
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Is it a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in related field or work or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry related certifications preferred – CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM, ITIL.
  • 2+ years’ experience in ITAM or related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Excel and Visio.
  • Experience with ServiceNow asset and CMDB tables.
  • Experience with discovery tools (Altiris, SCCM)
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory related to domain authentication and domain groups in an enterprise environment.

Hours:40.00
