Our team is looking for an experienced Sitecore Release Manager to be an integral member of the team. We’re looking for someone who will help lead the ownership of release for the Sitecore Framework. The ideal candidate should have strong experience and expertise in modern DevOps and cloud-native practices. This is a fully remote position but the hours are EST.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of releases for the Sitecore Framework, including release process and procedures
  • Optimize and enhance the deployment strategy to provide value to customers at an increased cadence
  • Work closely with the product owner and leadership team to strategize release schedules
  • Collaboration with development and QA teams to minimize risk and ensure quality
  • Advise on industry best practices for best-in-breed execution of new technologies and trends
Qualifications 
  • 3 – 5 years of proven release management experience preferably in a global matrixed technology organization
  • Expertise in release processes in a cloud-native environment including orchestration with Kubernetes and management with GitOps principles (ArgoCD)
  • Knowledge and experience with execution of releases using Azure Pipelines/Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience with implementing YAML for pipeline definitions and Kubernetes manifests with Kustomize
  • Deep understanding of the Sitecore XP architecture and its ancillary services, including Solr and xConnect
  • Proactive work style, initiative with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and creative balance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Continuous learning and service-oriented attitude
  • Bachelor’s Degree ideally in Information Systems or related
